The recent social distancing practices may have shuttered brick and mortar schools but, as you know, that does not mean the learning ends. Seemingly overnight, teachers around the globe transformed lesson plans to suit virtual environments, engaged students in new and inventive ways and for many students, served as one of the few pillars of normalcy in a period of great unknown. Undoubtedly, there have been challenges to overcome but through it all, teachers continue to make good on their promises to students, parents and society as a whole.
