About The Institute

In 2020, Rice University hosts its 2nd Annual AP International Summer Institute in San Jose, Costa Rica at La Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnologia (ULACIT). 

Courses are led by experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated College Board-endorsed lead consultants who have a broad range of knowledge and proven ability presenting to their peers. Instructors for 2020 include AP test development committee members, AP exam readers, winners of special recognition awards from the College Board and winners of regional and national teaching awards.

WHEN: Each course meets Tuesday through Friday, Aug. 4-7, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Reigster by May 4 to receive the early registration rate (a savings of $50).

EARLY FEE: $545 if registering by May 4
STANDARD FEE: $595 if registering May 5-July 20
LATE FEE: $645 if registering after July 20

GROUP REGISTRATION: Receive $100 off each registration when registering four or more teachers from the same school. Email collegeready@rice.edu for group discount promotional code, and provide a list of teacher names.

Tuition includes College Board Exam Resources, course materials, parking and lunch.
